What are the rates per session?
Licensed Therapist: $150 per 50 minute session
Registered Intern: $120 per 50 minute session (based on counselors experience)
Student Intern: $50 per 50 minute session
Group Therapy: Group therapy will have different rates depending on the size and need. Please reach out for a group rate.
A sliding scale is available on a limited basis. You may be required to fill out a financial form to determine need. Please do not let the cost stand in your way of talking with me. I would much rather find a solution that works for everyone.
How is payment processed?
We accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Cash, Checks, and HSA Health Service Cards.
Payments made by credit card will have an additional $5.00 surcharge added to the session fee. Payment must be provided at the time of service. There is a charge of $20 for a returned check.
Do you take insurance?
We do not process insurance directly. When requested, we do provide statements that include all the appropriate coding for you to submit them to your insurance company for possible out-of-network benefits.
Insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis. Many of the issues addressed in counseling do not meet the criteria for a formal diagnosis, such as counseling regarding an issue related to a relationship. Counseling is often about helping people through a difficult season or situation that does not involve a "disorder".
We keep your records confidential and are not shared with anyone, except in case of your express written consent, or in cases protected by law (e.g., your safety or the safety of others is at risk). When you use insurance to pay for therapy sessions, your confidential records become a part of your medical health records and may have an impact on your future employment and/or insurance coverage.
One of the most important reasons is counseling is a collaborative process. You and your counselor will determine the course of treatment and the length and duration of therapy sessions together. The length and duration of sessions are pre-determined if you utilize an insurance company.
What are your hours?
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm Telehealth only
*All sessions must be pre-scheduled.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
If you have created a portal login through our system then you can cancel or reschedule online. Otherwise, feel free to text me at (321) 285-6609 or call the office at (407) 423-0790.
A 48 hour notice is appreciated for cancellations so that we can fit other families in as soon as possible.
The fee for a no show or last minute (less than 24 hours) cancellation is the same as your session fee.
