About Me
In my early years of studying to become a counselor, I was unwittingly stuck in a playless rut. I encountered a transformative experience during which I was asked to create a ‘sand tray creation’ and as a result, wound up unexpectedly facing some of my inner-beliefs such as “playing is for kids, NOT for adults!” and “emotions aren’t for men- I don’t need those.”
As I was processing that seemingly simple experience, I began to value and understand the mind-heart connection, and the immense benefits that come from Play Therapy.
Now, I use the power of Play Therapy to illuminate the ineffable needs of both children and adults. The practice, while playful at its core, makes way for powerful discoveries to help children understand themselves, and to help families understand one another.
Don’t worry- I work with both children AND adults- and even entire families! I love serving clients who are ready to get their hands dirty and start truly working not just on one individual, but on their entire family dynamic. Parents who are seeking an insightful collaborator in their child’s healing will find that I am a trustworthy and compassionate counselor to partner with them along their journey.
Often, my adult clients are struggling with feeling stuck, disconnected (from themselves, life, and others) and at a loss for what to do next.
I bring my years of experience coupled with my creative, non-judgemental, and compassionate counseling culture to serve each and every one of my clients and their specific needs.
